Victory for Life: The Battle Belongs to The Lord

“You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.”

2026 Nifla Leadership Summit

Oh what hope we are given, indeed not fear, during this battle for the unborn and their families, knowing that it is not by our power the victory for life is won; it is the Lord, strong and mighty in power! It is He who fights for us - the Battle belongs to the Lord!

Join us at the NIFLA Leadership Summit as we celebrate His Victory for Life. It is His battle, we are His servants, and we want to prepare ourselves for how He calls us to participate.

At this year’s Summit, elevate your expertise and build up your spirit by delving into the latest updates in the legal landscape of the pro-life movement. Learn about prominent medical issues and engaging leadership strategies, and participate in prayer and worship woven throughout the week. Pro-life attorneys, medical professionals, and NIFLA member centers are like family to us. Come connect with and learn from one another so you can return home energized and armed with practical insights from our annual “family reunion.”

We hope to see you there!

“You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.”
Deuteronomy 3:22

Structure of the Leadership Summit

The Leadership Summit has two main lecture tracks, a medical intensive for specialized teaching, a service to honor the lives lost to abortion, and NIFLA’s annual Celebration of Life Dinner! Plus, several sessions will be offered virtually in 2026.

General Track

8-10 lectures, panels, and teaching on current legal cases, national policies affecting Life, means of advancing the cause, effective leadership, hope for the movement, etc. Many of these sessions qualify for Continuing Legal Education credit. We strive to make this track one that draws attorneys, board members, executive directors, and others so we can connect with, learn from, and encourage one another.

Medical Track

Led by NIFLA’s expert medical team, these 8-10 educational sessions cover medical ethics, Best Practices, grief and shock, perceived medical contradictions, STI centers, and much more. Most medical sessions qualify for Continuing Education Credits for nurses. These courses are designed for pregnancy center staff, medical doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, etc.

Medical Intensive

A unique opportunity to dial in on a specific medical topic on Monday afternoon. Always a favorite for our medical attendees, this Medical Intensive offers focused time to hit the ground running for the NIFLA Leadership Summit. Led by Dr. Byron C. Calhoun, Dr. Karen Poehailos, Dr. Matt Werner, this 3-hour intensive will encourage and empower you. This preconference afternoon also gives attendees a chance to seek out and connect with NIFLA’s medical team and other pro-life medical colleagues.

Service to Honor the Unborn

Pregnancy center staff can hold such sorrow as they witness the pain of their communities and hold the knowledge of precious life lost. The Service for the Unborn is meant to honor the life, however short, of the little one witnessed on the ultrasound screen; to acknowledge the grief held by the medical professionals involved in the care of the suffering; and to place all of our heartache at the foot of the cross, releasing it all to the capable and loving arms of the Father.

Celebration of Life Dinner

To acknowledge the gift of life that God has given to mankind, NIFLA hosts an annual Celebration of Life Dinner! Wednesday evening – with a keynote speaker, worship, and a delicious meal – we will celebrate what God has done in the pro-life movement in the past year and how we stand in His Victory for Life!

Virtual Experience

Several of the Leadership Summit sessions will be offered virtually, some live and some recorded. We aim to provide those unable to make the trip out to Williamsburg with a chance to participate in this year’s excellent lectures and training.
